The Hamadryade Lodge is committed to a sustainable approach to tourism based on the proper use of the natural landscape, supporting its local economy and historical culture, offering the traveler a unique and localized experience. Cabins, trails, and infrastructure make use of existing topographic contours and open spaces to integrate into the natural landscape and minimize direct impacts to vegetation and the natural movement of water and wildlife.

The huts and infrastructure are entirely made with wood from renewable forest plantations in the region to prevent the felling of primary forests. Its design and architectural structure have a unique, innovative and contemporary design.
The water comes from the natural streams and springs that flow from the forest concession surrounding the Lodge. A water treatment plant (Biodigester and garden biofilter) filters the water (grey and black water are separated) used by the shelter before discharging it back into the ground.

We are currently committed to restoring rainforest ecosystems, by planting native trees and other natural vegetation that is important to local wildlife and to our carbon neutral commitment.
